The Walls Begin To Crumble
Ref: Percy’s emotional display
We actually have seen that paramedic before; he was standing on the bridge in the last storyline. It was a very distant shot of him, though. Despite his relatively small role, his character has already grown on me.
I love this comic in the fact that it explains Jorocks to a “T”. He really doesn’t think about things until he needs to. For example, looking at one of the earliest story arcs he had heard Holly’s last name but never thought about it until Holly and Percy were in the same place. I also have not had Reese’s Pieces in a long time; it makes me kinda sad…

Poster Drawings 2
This is part two of the Spoofy Randomness Scientific Method artwork. As a science teacher by profession, I decided to develop classroom materials based around my characters. You can download the poster here and use it in your own classroom, laboratory, bedroom, etc.!

New Logo
Today is the first day of bonus material before the next story arc begins! As you may have noticed, I redesigned the logo a couple months ago to reflect the current art. So my gift to you today is a nifty desktop background logo, because I know you love my comic more than anything else you’d ever want to put on your desktop. (Okay, maybe not, but if you have one of those neat desktop changing thingies you could at least put it in the queue.)

Rescued

And the story arc draws to a close with a heroic rescue! This was originally going to be two comics, but I felt that it would flow smoother as one. But don’t worry, we’re not done with these events yet! The last arc, this one, and the next all are part of a larger arc. However, you’ll have to wait until the 14th to see what happens next, as I will be at camp for the next week. I’ll post some extras in the meantime.
Also, had a great experience the other night. I’m finally done with college, so I went with a few friends out to the local bars to celebrate (I don’t drink much, but I do enjoy an occasional gin and tonic to celebrate). At one of the bars, a random guy recognized me as the cartoonist for this comic and complimented my work. Needless to say, I was quite thrilled!

More Danger
Ref: Fedoraphone | Leonardo | Everybody in this town knows each other
First off, my disclaimer. This comic has been scripted for over a year now, so any connection with current events is purely by chance. I seriously debated about postponing this arc after the Joplin tornadoes and now with the Missouri and Mississippi River floods, but after a poll on Facebook I decided to continue.
This is the first time I’ve gotten to use the SketchUp of Leonardo; I really like how it turned out! You can probably expect to see that one more often.
Also, correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe this is the first time Jorocks and Sheriff Whitebucket have met.

Rescue Mission
The sky’s gotten dark at Greenpath now as the storm rolls in. I probably could have made that clearer, but meh.
As you’ll notice on the calendar, there was no update for Thursday. I have two very good reasons. One, grad school is intensive, especially with 12 credits in six weeks. Two, I got a job! I’m FINALLY employed! So I consider that a very legitimate excuse.
Have fun!
