Here is the celebration in color! I mentioned that I would tell you where each of these comes from, but I’m going to hold off once more. I will post a third version with shading, but I don’t have time for it today.

A Decade of Spoofy Randomness!
HAPPY TEN YEARS TO SPOOFY RANDOMNESS!
Wow. Gotta say, when I launched this comic in 2009 back on a poorly-designed Google Site I expected it to last two months tops. Not ten years, for sure. And here we are, moved from Google Sites to Comic Genesis to our own place, two main series of comics completed, several sketchbooks and a few SR: Scouting strips thrown in, Comic Rocket marks this post as number 442. Not bad for a guy who hasn’t taken an art class since 6th grade…
For those of you who have stuck with Spoofy Randomness since the beginning, you are what kept me going. For those of you who have joined the ride, I’m glad you did! Hearing people say they’re looking forward to the next comic has always been one of the best parts about doing this.
I wanted to make a tribute in particular to the webcomics that inspired me to try it myself. I’ll post a list of those pictured tomorrow, but see how many characters you recognize! I know I left out some comics, but I only had so much space. I’m quite proud of this piece, and I hope you enjoy it.

Weather
Got my tablet working again!
Oddly for a comic that’s about me teaching in Egypt, this is a rare time when the school and a student is actually shown. I’ve had to explain the difference between snow and hail for not just students, but adults as well. I suppose if you’ve never seen snow, and hail is a rarity (my impression is they hadn’t had any for three years), it would be confusing. Had a similar issue myself with graupel and hail. We’ve had unusual weather this year with early thunderstorms, larger than normal amounts of rain, and obviously hail.
My friends Kayla and Leeroy get fun little cameos here. Sorry Leeroy for dropping a giant hailstone on you. (Hailstones fall, everyone dies?)

Year 2
And we’re back! It’s time for Year 2 of my adventures to Egypt! Back in the country after a nice vacation in Switzerland and America, and plenty more wacky adventures in store this year, I’m sure!
And I did not end up chickening out of eye lasers, as I mentioned in that commentary that I might. Apparently I haven’t gotten used to drawing myself without glasses, as I actually drew them on when making this comic and had to erase them. Oops!

Q&A 3
Ref: Turkey
When I tried to fly out of Frankfurt, I discovered that I had a hold put on my plane ticket (thankfully arrived 2 and a half hours early). A representative from the American Consulate had to help me get that cleared, and apparently it was because I had spent time in Egypt and any activity in the Middle East is suspect (note: PERFECTLY LEGAL FOR ME TO BE THERE, THANK YOU), and then I had to sprint to make my plane. I then got flagged at both security and customs for supposedly ‘random’ checks. Hmm.
Now, both may have been issues without Trump (I will grudgingly admit that it sounds like Turkey started it), but his policies have increased such issues.
As for my stance, let me put it this way: I come back for good in a year. Please have America figured out by then. Thank you.
Also, the fact that ‘Make Egypt Great Again’ spells MEGA amused me…and then my brain tried to imagine a Mega Trump like the Mega Evolutions in Pokémon. Yikes.

Homeward Bound
And here’s Year 1 complete! THANK YOU for reading my silly little comic!
As I mentioned previously, I’m taking the summer ‘off’, posting quick Q&As instead of the usual comics. But regular comics will resume in September!
I’m posting this late from Kandersteg International Scout Centre, as the last week was CRAZY STRESSFUL. Moving to a new apartment and our school’s Moana production was crazy enough, but remember when my passport was stolen? Getting a new passport was easy. Getting a replacement visa so that I could prove that I was legally in the country in order to leave? Yeah, not easy. Managed to get it with SEVEN HOURS before I had to leave for Borg El Arab Airport.
