Sailing the Rolling…Prairies?
This comic is the first comic I produced for the Golden Sun Lodge’s newsletter, the Sundial.

Rooftop Sounds
Ref: The Tower Room
I am working on a Google SketchUp version of the Tower Room. It’s still a work in progress, but it’s coming along nicely. This makes backgrounds SO much easier! I do still have to go through them, edit, etc., so it’s not like this is purely a copout of drawing. Anyway, this is the first look at the room using SketchUp.

Comic #101: April Fools’
That was fun. Hopefully I tricked a few of you at least. This was a team effort between myself and Louis. If you liked what you saw yesterday, there is more coming. She gave me some fan art that will be posted during the summer hiatus (don’t forget to submit yours to spoofyrandomnesscomic@gmail.com!). She is amazing; she got my script Wednesday morning and got me the sketch by lunch. I then spent three hours coloring the comic and remembering exactly why I don’t color on a regular basis.

Spoofy Randomness #100: A Look Behind The Scenes
So today marks 100 comics of Spoofy Randomness (counting filler)! Not bad, given that I doubted if I’d last a month… So yeah, I figured I’d celebrate by exploring new art styles and adding color. I mean, seriously. Who doesn’t like color? John said it well in Panel Two. In case you didn’t catch the reference, Chris is referring to the male character in the new remakes HeartGold and Soulsilver. Amazing games, by the way.
Also, Jorocks’s dance is indeed disturbing…

The Dream Of Every Geek
Ref: Holly and Ichabod
Welcome to the first flashback of Spoofy Randomness! I’m assuming most of you didn’t do much conclusion-jumping when Ichabod spoke to Holly back then, and I’m pretty sure those of you that did hadn’t counted on him being an alien. My original intention was to show Ichabod occasionally sending a snarky comment to Holly throughout the coming years, but not speaking to anyone else on-panel. While I like this idea, I needed to push the development of Ichabod faster for reasons that will be revealed in the next comic.
On the note of flashbacks by the way, I was surprised to see how much my art has improved. There’s only slightly over three months since Panel 1 was first shown, yet the differences are clear. That made me happy!
