In case it isn’t clear, Chris is visualizing a party, a fifth wheel, a female Percy, and the height difference between Holly and Jorocks.

An odd mix of gamer and adventurer. Is a tech whiz, and not afraid to use it to meet his own means. Costars in the spinoff SR:Scouting. Accomplished at hot-air ballooning. Fun fact: His design is modeled after the character in Pokémon Crystal, and his last name is based off of the Hoenn games.

This is the first time Copy/Paste is used in Spoofy Randomness. Actually, technically I used the cloning tool. I do my best to avoid using such tools, as I prefer to hand-draw everything, but since they are identical twins I decided that my artistic ability would not do them justice. I had planned having an ice cream shop in the comic early on with a manager who is friends with the main cast, but I don’t know how that wound up becoming twins named after a sandwich. I suppose it beats “Ham and Cheese”. Hmm, maybe that would make a good comedic duo, though…

And with a new month comes a dramatically new, not to mention legible, style! This is the point where I finally got fed up with using Paint (can you blame me?) and downloaded GIMP. Due to the fact that I was already slowly losing my buffer as school took over, I didn’t have much time to play with it. So over the next few weeks of comics, you’ll see several subtle changes in the comic style as I play with new toys.
Oh, and this is also the point where I start titling my comics on the comic itself (when I moved to the new site, I had to title all of the old comics). I’ve seen a few other webcomics do this and I’ve always liked it. Plus it gives me a way to tell them apart other than the date.

Welcome to the first comic of Spoofy Randomness! The first comic of any storyline will be in color, the rest is plain ol’ black and white. Commentary will be provided for some comics, but not all.
Have fun!
